5 Foods to Incorporate Into Your Diet to Help You Burn Fat and Lose Weight Fast

I’m sure you’ve at least heard the word “keto” by now. Well, unless you live under a rock that is. And there’s no judgement here…happy rock dwelling if that’s your thang.
One of the biggest questions I get about following a keto diet or lifestyle is “what CAN I eat?” And I understand the frustration. We are programmed to think that a diet is going to be restrictive and boring and tasteless. So we ASSUME we are not going to be able to eat anything tasty.
Sometimes just knowing where to even start is a challenge. So to help you out, I’ve prepared this list of 5 foods to incorporate so you will burn fat faster and get you on the success track of meeting your weight loss goals.
First, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that a KEY element of “keto” is carb restriction. Carbs= grains, flours, sweets, sugar, most fruit, pasta, rice, bread, tortillas, beans etc. So we will assume you are eliminating these items 6 days of the week. You can treat yourself to one carb-cycle day a week and stay on track.
So what DO you need to add to your diet to get you into fat burning mode? Well…fat.
Here are my top 5 Foods to Incorporate Into Your Diet to Help You Burn Fat & Lose Weight Fast.
1. EGGS–These little power houses are a staple in the keto lifestyle. We use duck eggs because they are more alkaline (want to know why alkaline is important? Read here) and they have richer yolks. And we also have our only little supply chain in the backyard.

2. HEALTHY FATS–These should be 70% of your daily calorie intake. Includes avocado oil, coconut oil, MCT oil, flaxseed oil, ghee, grass-fed butter.

3. SEEDS/NUTS–Great to keep a variety on hand for a quick little snack. Choose your favorites like almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds.

4. NUT BUTTERS–There are so many varieties available on the store shelf these days. Choose your fav as long as it has no sugar added.
5. SALAD VEGGIES–Power up on non-starchy vegetables, especially lettuce, kale and spinach.

There you have it. Five simple things you can incorporate into your diet today that will help boost your fat burning and accelerate your weight loss.
